If Ron is the resident little weirdo, Ethel is the one wondering how she ended up related to him. π
Ethel and her brother Ron were dumped in front of a grocery store at just weeks old. Not exactly the beginning these babies deserved, but this 9-week-old, 10.5-pound girl has handled the whole thing with the quiet dignity of someone approximately 87 years old trapped inside a puppy's body.
And then there are those eyes. Two absolutely ridiculous baby blues that somehow fit her perfectly. π©΅π©΅
Ethel is the old soul of the pair. While Ron is busy doing Ron things, Ethel prefers to sit back, observe the situation and decide whether it actually deserves her participation. π She's easygoing, smart, confident and independent, with a maturity that seems slightly suspicious for a 9-week-old puppy.
Don't mistake "mature" for boring, though. Ethel LOVES playing with her brother, going for walks, exploring outside and carrying around her beloved stuffed lamb. She just approaches life with a little more thought and a lot less chaos.
She loves other dogs and enjoys her foster siblings. She's curious about cats but also gives them a healthy amount of respect. She hasn't lived with kids, but we think older kids who understand her slightly more laid-back style could be a great fit.
Ethel is also a total sweetheart who loves being held and getting affection -- she just doesn't need to be the center of attention every second of the day. She's perfectly content being her confident, independent little self.
She's crate trained, doing VERY well with potty training and working on her leash skills. Her ideal home would probably be a little quieter than her brother's -- somewhere she can have adventures and play, but also enjoy her favorite pastime: sitting back and contemplating everyone else's questionable decisions. π
If you've always wanted a tiny old lady disguised as a gorgeous puppy, Ethel would like to review your application.
