Flaxen - Australian Shepherd Dog for Adoption in Austin, Texas

Flaxen was found with his brothers near a road in a rural town when he was only a 2 months old. A kind person in the community saw them and picked them up. One of our fosters agreed to bring them into her home so we could save all three. Flaxen has been doing great in our program, and he has completed his veterinary care. The only thing he needs now is to find someone who will adopt and love him forever.

Flaxen has done great with every dog he meets of various ages and sizes. He is also cat friendly and loves kids. He is learning to potty outside and can already walk on a leash. He loves puppy toys and pets.

Flaxen is 4 months old and weighs 24 pounds. We think he is an Australian Shepherd mix, and will be a medium sized adult.

Flaxen is neutered, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP and Bordetella. He is also microchipped, heartworm negative and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
