DESCRIPTION
Meet Dorothy Emerald!
Dorothy is a sweet, affectionate lady who loves nothing more than a good scratch- especially between the eyes! She has a gentle nudge-and-paw way of letting you know she's ready for pets, and her calm, friendly personality makes her a delight to be around.
She gets along wonderfully with dogs, kids, and new people, and she's fully crate and potty trained. Dorothy has excellent manners, and she does well in the car and when left alone for several hours (especially if she has doggie company).
Outdoors is one of Dorothy's favorite places. She enjoys lounging in the sun, feeling the wind on her face, and playing fetch-bringing the toy right back to you every time. She knows commands like sit and come when called, and enjoys her time outside to relax and play. Dorothy also loves toys, which she'll happily enjoy in her adoptive home.
If you're looking for a loving, playful, and affectionate companion who will happily soak up sunbeams and cuddles alike, Dorothy Emerald is your girl!
ABOUT: AUSTRALIAN SHEPHERD DOG BREED
The Australian Shepherd is a highly intelligent and energetic herding dog known for its loyalty and work ethic. Originating in the United States, despite its name, this breed is prized for its agility, trainability, and versatility in various dog sports and activities. Australian Shepherds have a distinctive medium length coat that comes in different colors, often with unique merle patterns. With proper training, socialization, and exercise, these dogs make excellent companions for active families and individuals seeking a devoted and playful four legged friend.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
