Cowboy is a 6-month-old, Mini Aussie/Spaniel mix. He is a happy, high-energy pup weighing in at about 18 lbs and ready to take on the world. He’s incredibly friendly, loves everyone he meets, and absolutely thrives when he has other dogs to play with—wrestling, chasing, and romping are his favorite pastimes.

Cowboy is crate trained and sleeps like a rock (seriously—like a bag of bricks!), which is how his foster discovered he’s likely deaf. But don’t let that fool you—his deafness doesn’t slow him down one bit. He navigates life just like any other puppy and is incredibly in tune with his people.

This smart, human-focused boy is a quick learner and eager to please. He responds beautifully to visual cues and will do best with a family excited to continue positive, consistent training. He even loves car rides. Cowboy would thrive in a multi-dog home with a yard where he can burn energy and learn from his canine companions. He would likely also succeed as an only dog as long as human is active and looking for an exploring buddy.
