Meet Pete — a fluffy little bundle of joy with a heart as soft as his fur.

Pete is as sweet as they come and full of playful puppy energy. He loves romping around with his siblings and has a blast playing with the other dogs in his foster home. Big dogs, small dogs — Pete is everyone’s friend. When it comes to toys, he’s not picky: rope toys are a favorite, but honestly, any stick he discovers in the yard instantly becomes the best toy ever.

After a good play session, Pete is all about the cuddles. His favorite place to be is snuggled up on the couch with the kids, happily watching TV (or more likely, napping through it). He’s the perfect mix of fun-loving and affectionate.

Pete’s story started off a little rough. He and his siblings were found abandoned on a country road at just around four weeks old, left to fend for themselves. It’s truly amazing they survived. Thankfully, some kind-hearted people found them and reached out for help. Since then, Pete has been safe, cared for, and showered with love — and now he’s ready for the next chapter.

We’re committed to finding Pete the safe, loving forever home he absolutely deserves. If you’re looking for a playful companion, a loyal cuddle buddy, and a sweet addition to your family, Pete might just be your perfect match.

* Oglesby - We won’t be at our usual Oglesby stop this week but dogs can be picked up in Bloomington, Peoria or Davenport.
Iowa
* Davenport - Saturday morning
* Des Moines - Saturday early afternoon
Nebraska
* Omaha - Saturday afternoon

Medical & Spay/Neuter Information:
Most puppies travel with two rounds of vaccines, and sometimes three. Occasionally, we may not have had a puppy long enough for a second round.

Puppies under 6 months of age are not spayed or neutered. Spaying or neutering is a required condition of adoption and must be completed by the puppy’s first birthday or by your veterinarian's recommendation, at the adopter’s expense. Out-of-state surgery costs are not included in the adoption fee.

Breed Disclaimer:
Breed is our best estimate based on the puppy’s appearance and, when known, the mother’s appearance. Fathers are rarely known, and litters can have multiple fathers, meaning puppies may be half-siblings with different breed mixes.
