DESCRIPTION
Jim is a 4 month old shepherd/husky mix that recently came up from Kentucky. It's clear that Jim and his littermates had little to no human contact before arriving to us. Given their situation, they are coming around very quickly! It took Jim a few days to even let us touch him but he will now come up and sniff you and accept pets. He is potty trained via a doggy door and loves to go lay out in the sun. You can see in Jim's eyes how badly he wants to let people in, he's just still scared. This sweet boy will need lots of patience and understanding while he learns that humans are good (and we have food)! Jim will need training to be on a leash, as that's a foreign concept to him. He likes to play with other dogs, seems to ignore cats, and likes kids, is just still a little afraid of them. Despite the fear, Jim has never shown a single sign of aggression. This pup just needs somewhere safe to learn how to be someone's best friend!
