DESCRIPTION
Dwight is a 4 month old shepherd/husky mix that was a recent intake from Kentucky. He is one of the most fearful of his litter. It's very clear that Dwight and his siblings had little to no human contact before arriving. Despite this, Dwight has never shown any signs of aggression and you can see in his eyes how much he wants to open up. In the few days he's been with his foster already, he has went from cowering in a corner, to walking up to her and sniffing/licking/taking treats. Dwight needs someone who will allow him the time it will take to let his guard down and realize that humans are good. He is housebroken via a doggy door and loves cuddly blankets. He plays well with other dogs, has seen cats and kids and doesn't seem to mind either. As he's opening up we are seeing more tail wags, more alert ears, more playing in the yard and a more relaxed stature. This boy deserves to see a world that is nothing to be afraid of.
