Australian Shepherd and Greyhound Dogs Available for Adoption
LUKE
Australian Shepherd, Greyhound
May 12th
male, medium, young
DESCRIPTION
Meet Luke! He is a very sweet and gentle 3 year old Australian Shepherd/Greyhound mix. Luke needs a quiet home with no children. He is currently fostering in a home with kids and is not aggressive or reactive, but the loud noises and sudden movements typical to kids, make Luke nervous. He prefers calm and quiet spaces with his human. Once Luke bonds with you, he will be by your side for life! He is on & off leash trained and enjoys daily hikes with his foster parents. He loves other dogs and enjoys going to daycare on a regular basis and playing with his pals. He also gets along wonderfully with the other dogs in his foster home. Luke had double knee surgery as a puppy at Colorado Canine Orthopedics. He is fully recovered and has no lingering issues, but would not be well suited for daily runs or excessive activity. He enjoys sniffing around the forests, playing ball in his yard, and settling down to chew a bone. Luke is potty trained, neutered, and up to date on all vaccines. Please contact his foster Mom, Sarah, at 913-948-2327 if you are interested in meeting Luke.
Adoption fee will be discussed.
