Australian Shepherd and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Dogs Available for Adoption in Waterloo, Iowa

****Tiki is currently in a foster home and is not currently at CBHS. Due to her circumstances, CBHS is taking applications and selecting the home that fits her needs and best interest.*

When Tiki first arrived, she couldn’t use her hind legs—and with no medical history, there was no way to know what happend. After an incredible rehabilitation journey, Tiki can now walk, run, play, and can even go up and down stairs! She’s getting stronger every single day and is ready to start her next chapter in a loving home.

At just 1.5 years old and 11 pounds, Tiki is a petite cuddle bug with a soft, shy side. We aren't entirely sure what breeds make up this adorable girl, but we are guessing maybe toy Australian Shepherd or even Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Tiki may take a moment to warm up, but once she does, she’ll be your shadow—snuggled up right next to you whenever she can.
And fair warning: she firmly believes laps were invented just for her.

Tiki is not a fan of being alone in a kennel—she much prefers being close to her people. If crating is needed, she’ll require a sturdy, escape-proof setup.

When she’s not busy being your personal snuggle companion, Tiki loves zooming around a fenced yard and rolling in the grass like the happy girl she is. She does understand potty training and thrives on a consistent routine.

She gets along well with friendly, respectful dogs and enjoys having buddies—but she prefers not to share her prized possessions (toys and treats). A little supervision or separate snack time keeps everyone happy!
