Big Mac - Australian Cattle Dog Blue Heeler Dog for Adoption in Wilton, California

Attention cattle dog lovers! Big Mac was found with his brother Oreo alone and abandoned on a rural road in Herald. We believe their mom was hit by a car and deceased on the road. A concerned resident of the area picked up the puppies and asked for WAR's help. They had no chip and no collar and no one came forward to claim them. Fortunately, the resident who found them agreed to foster them while we waited for their 30-day stray hold to expire so we could get them vaccinated and neutered. While with their foster, she has been able to evaluate their temperament, work on basic obedience with them and begin their potty training. Big Mac is great with other dogs and kids. He is learning manners such as "sit" and "off". He is in early stages of potty training and can be loose in the house supervised for about 30 minutes at a time before being taken out for a potty break. With consistency and supervision, this will only get better and more reliable. Big Mac is an old soul. He is very playful and loving but his favorite activity is to snuggle into your lap and take a nap. He loves everyone he meets - both four- and two-legged. He has been on car rides and does not get car sick. He is a puppy now, but will grow into a medium-sized dog.
