River - Australian Cattle Dog Blue Heeler Dog for Adoption in Weaverville, California

Meet River! River is a male, Heeler mix type, adult. He is reported to be approximately 5 years old. River came to us after his family could no longer care for him. He previously lived with cats and another male dog, his father (Queensland heeler). His coat is recovering from a flea situation but otherwise he seems very happy and healthy. River loves toys (especially a ball) and is very treat motivated. Now that he is adjusting to the shelter he is coming out of his shell and we are learning more about him everyday!
