Meet Reggie! He's a fun, energetic shepherd mix, about 5 years old, who loves life at full speed. Like many shepherds, he's smart, loyal, and happiest when he has a job to do. He loves meeting new people and greets everyone with lots of enthusiasm (and a few jumps, so he'd benefit from some work on polite greetings). He's a watchful companion who keeps an eye on his family, and when the day is done, he's a total cuddle bug who loves snuggling on the couch or in bed with you. He's great in the car and ready for any adventure. Fair warning: he's a power chewer who makes quick work of dog toys, so stock up on the tough ones!

Reggie's ideal match is an active, experienced owner who will keep him busy with long walks, runs, hikes, or training games. A shepherd's brain needs exercise as much as his legs do. He's an escape artist with a strong prey drive. Squirrels, cats, and other animals get him very excited, and he will dig under or squeeze through a fence to chase them. He needs a secure, dig-proof yard and should never be left outside unsupervised. A home without cats or small pets, with adults or older kids, would suit him best.

With the right person and enough to do, Reggie will be a devoted, fun-loving companion who will happily share your couch at the end of the day!

The Australian Cattle Dog, also known as the Blue Heeler, is a hardworking and intelligent breed originally developed in Australia for herding cattle. Renowned for their endurance and agility, these medium sized dogs have a striking blue or red speckled coat and alert, curious expression. With a strong herding instinct and boundless energy, they require mental stimulation and physical activity to thrive. Blue Heelers are loyal, protective, and make excellent companions for active individuals or families willing to provide the engagement and exercise they need.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
