Bluey - Australian Cattle Dog Blue Heeler and Australian Shepherd Dog for Adoption in Silsbee, Texas

Bluey is an adorable, intelligent puppy with a personality that's sure to steal your heart! Eager to please, attentive, and incredibly food motivated, he's a great candidate for continued training.

In his foster home, this playful boy does wonderfully with the resident female dog as well as his younger male foster sibling. He even enjoys playing with the resident cat, Mira! When he's not romping with his four-legged friends, you can often find him playing chase around the house with his kid best friend.

Energetic and curious, Bluey enjoys walks, playtime, and plenty of mental stimulation. As an added bonus, he's already potty trained and crate trained!

Recently, some resource guarding around food has developed with the other dogs in his foster home. His foster is actively working with him, and importantly, this behavior has never been directed toward people. His food and bowl can be handled or removed without issue.

Because his foster home has been his safe place since being rescued from the streets of Texas, Bluey may benefit from slow, thoughtful introductions to new dogs in an unfamiliar environment. Once he feels safe and settled, his playful, affectionate personality really shines.
