Australian Cattle Dog Blue Heeler
🇺🇸
Richmond, California
June 25th
male, medium, adult
DESCRIPTION
Here he is! Meet Corey, a tidy and most attentive Cattle dog looking for his person/people/side-kick and life companion! Corey is loyal and loving, and all things to be expected from a Herder like him, though that said, he is on the more relaxed side! A willing and attentive companion who is willing to please and to listen and not argue too much!
This under 40 pound lucky guy still has his tail, (not docked) and of course perky prick ears that hone in on everything - and, he has the eye! The stare...
Cattle dogs are a lifestyle dog, both demanding, assertive and super smart as well as agile - both mental and physical challenges are desired! Not a dog for a life on the other end of a leash... at least not as the main source of activity. They want and do much better with way more action!
Corey thus far has a great record from his time in the Shelter we rescued him from, he was a favorite... and he is quickly becoming a favorite at Milo as well!

The Australian Cattle Dog, also known as the Blue Heeler, is a hardworking and intelligent breed originally developed in Australia for herding cattle. Renowned for their endurance and agility, these medium sized dogs have a striking blue or red speckled coat and alert, curious expression.
