GIRL - Australian Cattle Dog Blue Heeler Dog for Adoption in Quitman, Texas

Girl is about 1.5 to 2 years old and came to us from a friendly couple that found her and needed our help to find her a great home!

Girl is very sweet. She has come so far. She loves to play with other dogs and although she is not a fan of small dogs has learned to tolerate them. She will come when called and does great in her crate. She has learned to walk on a leash and is currently working on sitting on command consistently. She loves treats and definitely wants to please. She is a little gem!

She was given ProHeart 12 in January 2026 and is HW Negative!

The Australian Cattle Dog, also known as the Blue Heeler, is a hardworking and intelligent breed originally developed in Australia for herding cattle. Renowned for their endurance and agility, these medium sized dogs have a striking blue or red speckled coat and alert, curious expression. With a strong herding instinct and boundless energy, they require mental stimulation and physical activity to thrive. Blue Heelers are loyal, protective, and make excellent companions for active individuals or families willing to provide the engagement and exercise they need.
