Hazel - Australian Cattle Dog Blue Heeler Dog for Adoption in Plainfield, Connecticut

Meet Hazel—A Little Puppy, a Whole Lot of Possibility!

Hazel is a female Cattle Dog/Lab mix who will be 8 weeks old and ready to go home on November 7!

On her future to-do list: discover the toy basket, learn what “sit” means, and find out how many puppy kisses her family can handle. Hazel is just beginning her story and is looking for someone to help her write the happy chapters.

As a young puppy, she’ll need patient guidance with potty training, puppy manners, and learning about the world. Her breed mix may bring an active mind and plenty of energy as she grows, so make room for play, training, and adventures!

The Australian Cattle Dog, also known as the Blue Heeler, is a hardworking and intelligent breed originally developed in Australia for herding cattle. Renowned for their endurance and agility, these medium sized dogs have a striking blue or red speckled coat and alert, curious expression. With a strong herding instinct and boundless energy, they require mental stimulation and physical activity to thrive. Blue Heelers are loyal, protective, and make excellent companions for active individuals or families willing to provide the engagement and exercise they need.
