Arrival story: After moving from their 22-acre farm to the city to care for family, their loving owners realized these active dogs were struggling to adjust to life without a fenced yard, so they made the selfless decision to help them find a home better suited to their needs.

Approximate age / Weight: 5 yrs old and 45 lbs.

Personality:
Stella is the perfect mix of playful and affectionate. She loves spending time with her people, enjoys a good game of tug-of-war, and never turns down a stuffed toy to carry around. She's gentle when taking treats, rides great in the car, and doesn't mind dressing up in a cozy sweater or fun outfit. After a day of exploring or playing with Andrew, Stella is happy to relax nearby, simply enjoying being part of the family. Having spent her life on a farm, she loves being outdoors and sharing life's adventures with the people she loves.

Ideal Home:
Stella and Andrew are a bonded pair and are looking for a family ready to welcome them both. They would love a home with a securely fenced yard or acreage where they can safely explore and play together. Stella gets along well with children, dogs, and cats, making her a wonderful addition to many households. She's house trained, crate trained, hand-signal trained, and ready to settle into a home that will enjoy her playful spirit, loving personality, and appreciation for the simple things in life.

ADOPTION INFO:

We do not have a facility; all of our dogs are fostered in private homes. To meet a dog in person, please see our event calendar on our website for the date and time of the next adoption event. Arrangements can be made to meet a dog outside of adoption events after an application is submitted and approved.

Our adoption process includes an application and in-home meet-n-greet with the dog.

-Adult Dog Adoption Fee - $250
-Senior Dog Adoption Fee - $125
-Pup Adoption Fee - $250 plus $50 spay/neuter deposit refunded upon proof of surgery by 6 mos.
