Daisy - Australian Cattle Dog Blue Heeler Dog for Adoption in Newport, Oregon

Meet Daisy! A little round, a little shy, a whole lot of wonderful!
Daisy is a 5 year old heeler who is currently shaped more like a potato than a professional cattle herder. Somewhere under all the extra fluff is an athletic working dog. We're pretty sure. We're still looking for her.
Daisy can be a little shy when meeting new people but give her a little patience and time to get comfortable and you'll start to see her sweet personality shine through/
Despite her generously portioned figure, Daisy LOVES going for walks! In fact, this determined little lady has already started her weight loss journey and has successfully lost 3 pounds! She is putting in the work, one adorable waddle at a time.
Daisy is looking for a patient, loving home that will help her continue working towards a healthier weight while reminding her that the world isn't such a scary place.
She's not looking for a personal trainer. She's looking for a best friend who happens to enjoy walks. Come meet Daisy and help this little butterball write the next chapter of her story!

The Australian Cattle Dog, also known as the Blue Heeler, is a hardworking and intelligent breed originally developed in Australia for herding cattle. Renowned for their endurance and agility, these medium sized dogs have a striking blue or red speckled coat and alert, curious expression. With a strong herding instinct and boundless energy, they require mental stimulation and physical activity to thrive. Blue Heelers are loyal, protective, and make excellent companions for active individuals or families willing to provide the engagement and exercise they need.
