True to her name, 12-year-old Shadow loves to follow her people wherever they go. She's an easygoing girl with a big heart and an even bigger appreciation for cuddles, especially belly rubs! Give her a little attention and she'll happily roll right over, all four paws in the air, soaking up every minute.

Shadow is always up for an adventure. Car ride? She's in! Going for a walk? Don't leave without her! She's a curious girl who loves to stop and sniff absolutely everything, so if you're looking for a walking companion who won't rush you through life, Shadow is your gal.

Like many cattle dogs, Shadow bonds closely with her person and offers the kind of loyalty that makes these dogs so special. But she's not all snuggles and devotion! She's still got plenty of spunk and enjoys playing with other dogs. She greets new canine friends with enthusiasm and welcomes people with an enthusiastic wagging tail.

Shadow has shown no interest in the chickens she's encountered, so we suspect she may do well with cats, although a proper introduction would be important.

This sweet girl has been through a lot, but you wouldn't know it from her sunny disposition. She's bright, happy, affectionate, and ready to share all the love she has to give. Shadow is looking for someone to call her own, and in return, you'll have a loyal little shadow who just wants to be wherever you are.

Shadow is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on her core vaccines. She is being fostered in Veneta, OR.
