Lou is a four-year-old Australian Cattle Dog. She is a unique chocolate color that you don't see very often, but she's quite beautiful. Lou was surrendered to the city shelter because her owners lost their housing. A sad situation for humans and dog.

I'll be honest. Lou isn't the dog for everyone, but for the right someone, she's going to be THE dog. She's crazy smart. I think you could teach her to make coffee in the morning while she's also folding your laundry. And this dog will play fetch until your arm gives out. And get this, she actually brings the ball right back to your hand. No keep-away.

Lou wants a person to call her own. She is a true cattle dog and she needs a job, but you don't need a herd of cattle to make her happy. YOU can be her job. She wants someone who will let her be their shadow. Someone who needs buddy. She's ready to go where you want to go and do what you want to do. Just let her come along.

She's not going to be a dog park dog. She won't care to go to dog daycare. Other dogs aren't really her thing. She's other dog selective and she'd prefer to be your one and only.
