DESCRIPTION
Hi! I’m Fargo! I’m approximately 1.5-2 years old. Everyone that meets me tells me how handsome I am! I was found as a stray near the McKinney/Princeton border. I was living in a construction zone and surviving off trash from the work teams until I was rescued. I was really skinny and scared of people at first, but I am quickly learning to accept love. Quality time and gifts (chicken!) are my love languages. Once I know I'm safe with you I’ll snuggle up next to you for some pets. I have already learned how to walk on a leash and am working on “sit” and “down.” I’m a smart boy and will do almost anything for some chicken—not a fan of carrots (yuck!). I love outside time and am learning how to play with toys. I enjoy relaxing next to my foster mom after our training sessions and am the most loyal companion. I am looking for a family that is patient, calm, and has a fenced yard so I can play. Please message my foster mom to set up a meet and greet soon!
ABOUT: AUSTRALIAN CATTLE DOG BLUE HEELER DOG BREED
The Australian Cattle Dog, also known as the Blue Heeler, is a hardworking and intelligent breed originally developed in Australia for herding cattle. Renowned for their endurance and agility, these medium sized dogs have a striking blue or red speckled coat and alert, curious expression. With a strong herding instinct and boundless energy, they require mental stimulation and physical activity to thrive. Blue Heelers are loyal, protective, and make excellent companions for active individuals or families willing to provide the engagement and exercise they need.
