Hi there, my name is Dixie! I am an incredibly loving and soulful companion. I am very intelligent and very emotionally in tune with my caregivers. I will melt your heart with my adoring gaze and keep your days filled with smiles with my silly, joyful side. I would love to find a laid back home with a kind and caring female adopter(s). It's okay to have a male in the home too but I'm a total girls girl.
I was adopted from HSSPV as a puppy and tearfully returned recently when my owner fell on hard times. I have lived with cats before and do well with other gentle dogs at the shelter, including smaller dogs. However, I do not enjoy wrestle type play with other dogs. My adoption fee includes my spay, a microchip, vaccines, and a fourteen day limited health guarantee through Redstone Animal Hospital!
