Meet Pepper!

Pepper is looking for a loving home once again. She was originally adopted from Humane Tomorrow in 2017 and has been a cherished companion ever since. Unfortunately, due to her owner's relocation out of the country, Pepper is returning to Humane Tomorrow through no fault of her own.

Pepper is a 35# sweet, gentle girl who truly loves people. She enjoys being around her humans and is happiest when she can simply relax by your side. She is exceptionally well-behaved in the home, fully housetrained, and trustworthy enough that she does not need to be crated when left alone. Her very favorite game in the world is fetching the tennis ball so in order to adopt her you should make sure you have arm strength :) She is excellent at walking a leash but even off leash she does great and comes back when you snap or click your fingers. She's just the bestest girl!

While Pepper would thrive as an only dog where she can soak up all the attention, she generally does well with most other dogs. Occasionally she'll meet a dog she's unsure about, but rather than reacting aggressively, she simply chooses to keep her distance and hide until she feels comfortable.

Pepper is in excellent health and still has so much love to give. After spending years as a devoted companion, we believe she deserves a wonderful forever home where she can enjoy her golden years surrounded by love, comfort, and security.
