Bandit - Australian Cattle Dog Blue Heeler Dog for Adoption in Lagrange, Indiana

Bandit is a 2-year-old blue heeler mix with a gentle heart and a sweet soul. He's a little shy at first, and new people and places can make him nervous. Once he knows you're a friend, though, he soaks up every bit of attention you'll give him and just wants to be close to his person.

Bandit also loves to run. Like a true heeler, he's happiest when he has room to stretch his legs and burn off some energy. He's looking for an active home that's also calm and patient, where he can warm up at his own pace. Give him time and a lot of love, and he'll be a devoted companion for life.

The Australian Cattle Dog, also known as the Blue Heeler, is a hardworking and intelligent breed originally developed in Australia for herding cattle. Renowned for their endurance and agility, these medium sized dogs have a striking blue or red speckled coat and alert, curious expression. With a strong herding instinct and boundless energy, they require mental stimulation and physical activity to thrive. Blue Heelers are loyal, protective, and make excellent companions for active individuals or families willing to provide the engagement and exercise they need.
