Speckles is decidedly one VERY special boy, one we're lucky to have in our care!  Having been spotted chasing cars by an independent feeder(as if he'd been freshly dumped, poor guy!), Exceedingly malnourished and terrified but determined to save himself, brave Speckles was at risk of being hit by a car and the decision was made to bring him in as soon as we possibly could.  Funny and easy-going, but a bit unpolished on a leash, Speckles is very gentle with toys and keeps an immaculate kennel, giving us thought that he once had a true home where-in he'd mastered housetraining.  
The perfect size at 50lbs now that he's recovered from starvation, and estimated to be only 3 years old, he's also the perfect age for a long lifetime of fun and adventure! Be it snuggling on the couch or sunbathing in the backyard, there's few things Speckles loves more than human companionship. If a truly medium energy dog who's not too big and not too small is what you have in mind, give Speckles a chance!
