Astra - abandoned A Litter of 4 - Australian Cattle Dog Blue Heeler and Hound Dog for Adoption in Horn Lake, Mississippi

Meet Astra: Astra is about a 10 week old (as of August 2, 2026) heeler / hound mix (best guess) that weighs just about 10 pounds. This adorable litter of 4 puppies (Apollo, Astra, Atlas, and Aurora) was abandoned at the home of a partner veterinarian to our rescue. When she got home one evening, coming up to her garage, these four babies ran to her. There was no one around and apparently were just let off at her house. She wonderfully took them in and gave them the vet care to get them set up for success! Astra is being fostered in the south with her and would love to catch the next freedom ride north to Pennsylvania on 8/15/26 to meet more prospective families! Astra and her littermates are all happy, friendly, playful, active puppies! Astra loves running and playing with her toys and doggie friends. Astra gets along great with all people and other dogs. The staff at the vet clinic cuddle and play with them daily and think they are fantastic pups! They are working on house training, but as a puppy, Astra will need some patience while she continues to master house training. Astra is crate trained. We would love for Astra to have a home with a fenced in yard for her to run and play freely as she grows. Astra is getting up to date on her puppy shots and will need to be spayed when age appropriate.
