Larry is a 4-year-old Blue Heeler who made the long trip from Texas in hopes of finding the forever home he deserves. And while heelers are known for being busy, energetic goofballs, Larry is a little different—this handsome boy is surprisingly calm, quiet, and wonderfully well-mannered. 💙
Larry is still new here, so he can be a bit shy at first. He seems to warm up to the ladies a little faster than the guys, but once he realizes you’re kind and patient, he quickly becomes your loyal best friend. Give him a little time, a few soft words, and maybe a treat or two, and you’ll have a shadow for life. 🐶✨
This sweet boy is house trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and has shown us that he has excellent manners around other dogs—even when they aren’t being very nice to him. Larry just keeps on walking and minds his own business like the gentleman he is. 🌷
Because he can be a little timid, Larry would likely do best in a home with older, respectful kids who understand that sometimes the best friendships take a little time to bloom. 🌸
We’re still getting to know Larry and learning more about him every day, but one thing is already clear: behind that shy face is a truly wonderful dog just waiting for someone to give him a chance.
