Meet Calley, Daisy & Olivia! We're sweet, loving, affectionate, cuddly sisters and we would be a wonderful companion to your family. We're siblings, born approximately on 5-26-26 and our mom is an American Blue Heeler with a merle pattern. We're not sure about our dad, but we are lean, with long legs and at our 3-month vet visit,were 12 to 14 pounds and the vet said we're healthy and on track to be 17 to 20 inches/35 to 50 pounds as adults. We're all super soft, medium length fur, black/brown/white (merle). We play together very well, have lots of energy and we're all puppy!
We love to explore, nose around at any good scent and food driven. We're all very curious, love to play with other pups (and try our best to play with cats, the cats don't want to play with us!) and will get into everything (as most curious puppies do), so hide your shoes!
In new places and being around new people, we can be a little timid and learning to be brave in this big world. We often prefer to sleeping in the crate with our dog bed but also fall asleep, snoring, on a warm lap. We love people and follow our foster family everywhere they go. Even if we run off to chase a squirrel or each other, when our names are called, we come running back immediately. We never want to stray too far away from our foster family. We just love being part of a pack and it doesn't matter if we are doing something or nothing at all. Our foster family have 2 dogs, blue tick coonhound and a lab. We love to follow around the blue tick coonhound as a pack leader (and he sort of looks like us!)
We're smart and very excited to learn. We are working on being housebroken but still need reminders, consistent schedule of going outside and being rewarded with praise. We'll need to keep working on this but we're both so excited when we do succeed. We sleep together at night in a crate and sleep well for 6-8 hours without having any accidents or issues. We do play a lot during the day, nap off and on and then play again. Our foster mom works from home so we're not in the crate much during the day and have other animals to chase and play with, so when it's time for bed, we're always tuckered out and ready to go in our crate. We play and chase each other a lot and are very good at wearing ourselves out.
We can be adopted separately or together. We would be a great addition to any family. If you're on the couch, we'll happily lay next to you or snuggle up for a movie. Neither of us really bark unless we're playing with each other, but we will whine if we're left out and not with the family. We're still little and need companionship. None of us have tried walking with a leash. This will be something we will need to work on and practice.
We have been fostered in a home with young children, other dogs and cats and we get along with everyone. Our estimated date of birth is 5-26-26, being fostered in Brownsburg, up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered and microchipped. Foster family has a fenced-in yard with dog door.
