Australian Cattle Dog Blue Heeler

Ferndale, Michigan
April 18th
female, medium, adult
DESCRIPTION
Dee is a cattle dog mix with classic traits-sharp eyes for squirrels, playful energy, and strong devotion to her people.
Her foster mom shares: Dee was very scared at first, but within days her silly, sweet personality came out. She's loving, active, fully housetrained (no accidents), and crate trained. She plays great with other dogs and walks beautifully on a leash.
She can be a little skittish with new things at first, but adjusts quickly and looks to her humans for reassurance-she's already conquered her fear of the car and household noises. Dee loves to cuddle and will happily snuggle on the couch.
She's respectful of older cats but may chase younger ones, so a cat-free home might be best. A fenced yard is a plus but not required-she'll thrive with plenty of exercise and would make a great walking, hiking, or running partner.
If you have a playful dog and think he/she would love a friend, this dog would be great, but a second dog is not a requirement.
And yes-she's just as cute as her pictures.
