DESCRIPTION
Meet Betsy - a loving, loyal, and spunky girl who's ready for her next chapter.
Betsy is an absolute sweetheart! She is house-trained, affectionate, and always happy to greet her foster mom and moms friends with tail wags and love. She's eager to please and thrives when she's close to her people.
Betsy can be a bit skittish when she is outside and loud noises and busy areas may startle her. She is great with other dogs - big and small, but she cannot do cats. She has a tendency to get into things when left alone (not all the time!), so she would do best in a crate or more confined space when she's home alone.
Betsy would love to have a home with other dogs, but she can be a solo dog too. She would do best in a home without very young kids or kids that can give her the space she needs. Betsy would love a family that can continue her training.
If you're interested in adopting Betsy, apply online at www.uppupandaway.org. Meet and greets only happen once approved as an adopter. If you're already an approved adopter or foster, feel free to DM your interest.
ABOUT: AUSTRALIAN CATTLE DOG BLUE HEELER DOG BREED
The Australian Cattle Dog, also known as the Blue Heeler, is a hardworking and intelligent breed originally developed in Australia for herding cattle. Renowned for their endurance and agility, these medium sized dogs have a striking blue or red speckled coat and alert, curious expression. With a strong herding instinct and boundless energy, they require mental stimulation and physical activity to thrive. Blue Heelers are loyal, protective, and make excellent companions for active individuals or families willing to provide the engagement and exercise they need.
