DESCRIPTION
Meet Woody & Jessie - you've got a friend in these two!
Woody and Jessie are two adorable Heeler mix pups who didn't exactly get the fairytale beginning they deserved. These babies were dumped on a country road and left to fend for themselves, but thankfully, their story didn't end there.
Now safe with us, their true personalities are starting to shine - and they are Heelers through and through!
Woody and Jessie are incredibly intelligent, quick to learn, eager to please, and always ready for something to do. These are active little minds attached to active little bodies, and they're going to thrive with families who enjoy training, adventures, and keeping their dogs involved in everyday life. Give them a job, teach them a trick, take them hiking - these two are ready to soak it all up.
Because Heelers are smart, driven working dogs with some very breed-specific traits, breed experience is required to adopt Woody or Jessie. We want these pups placed with people who understand that a bored Heeler will happily invent their own job... and you may not appreciate their career choice.
They can be adopted separately and are each ready to trade that lonely country road for a home where they'll never have to wonder if someone is coming back for them again.
Woody and Jessie have already had one big adventure. Now they're looking for their happily ever after.
ABOUT: AUSTRALIAN CATTLE DOG BLUE HEELER DOG BREED
The Australian Cattle Dog, also known as the Blue Heeler, is a hardworking and intelligent breed originally developed in Australia for herding cattle. Renowned for their endurance and agility, these medium sized dogs have a striking blue or red speckled coat and alert, curious expression. With a strong herding instinct and boundless energy, they require mental stimulation and physical activity to thrive. Blue Heelers are loyal, protective, and make excellent companions for active individuals or families willing to provide the engagement and exercise they need.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
