DESCRIPTION
Some puppies are chaos wrapped in fur. Jilly Bean? She's sweetness wrapped in fur.
This adorable young Heeler mix has quickly won over her foster family with her gentle nature and easygoing personality. Jilly gets along wonderfully with both cats and dogs and has proven herself to be quite the cuddle bug. If you're looking for a puppy who wants nothing more than to snuggle up beside you after a day of fun, Jilly is your girl.
Unlike many puppies her age, Jilly isn't interested in turning your shoes, furniture, or favorite possessions into chew toys. She's also doing an excellent job with potty training and is already developing great house manners.
And can we talk about bedtime? Jilly may just be every puppy adopter's dream. Around 10 PM, she happily settles down for the night and sleeps soundly until 7 AM without making a peep. No late-night puppy parties here!
Like many shelter pups, Jilly can be a little protective of her food around other dogs right now, but with continued guidance, structure, and confidence-building, her foster is hopeful this behavior will continue to improve.
Sweet, snuggly, smart, and surprisingly low-maintenance for a puppy, Jilly Bean is ready to find a family of her very own. Could that family be yours?
ABOUT: AUSTRALIAN CATTLE DOG BLUE HEELER DOG BREED
The Australian Cattle Dog, also known as the Blue Heeler, is a hardworking and intelligent breed originally developed in Australia for herding cattle. Renowned for their endurance and agility, these medium sized dogs have a striking blue or red speckled coat and alert, curious expression. With a strong herding instinct and boundless energy, they require mental stimulation and physical activity to thrive. Blue Heelers are loyal, protective, and make excellent companions for active individuals or families willing to provide the engagement and exercise they need.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
