Jinx - Australian Cattle Dog Blue Heeler Dog for Adoption in Cleveland, Texas

**Meet Jinx!**

Jinx is a 1-year-old Heeler mix with a heart full of love! This sweet boy is an absolute love bug who just wants to feel safe and loved. He had a rough start in life, so he can be a little shy at times, but he’s making progress every day and learning that the world can be a good place.

Jinx gets along well with other dogs, including puppies, and is ready to keep learning and growing with a family of his own. He’s house-trained, kennel-trained, does well in the car, and is working on his leash skills. He is neutered and up to date on preventatives.

Because Jinx has a high prey drive, he will need a cat-free home.

This special boy has so much love to give and just needs someone willing to give him a little patience, reassurance, and a whole lot of affection. Could you be the one to show Jinx what it means to have a family of his very own?

The Australian Cattle Dog, also known as the Blue Heeler, is a hardworking and intelligent breed originally developed in Australia for herding cattle. Renowned for their endurance and agility, these medium sized dogs have a striking blue or red speckled coat and alert, curious expression. With a strong herding instinct and boundless energy, they require mental stimulation and physical activity to thrive. Blue Heelers are loyal, protective, and make excellent companions for active individuals or families willing to provide the engagement and exercise they need.
