Beau is a 3-year-old, 35-pound Blue Heeler mix with a heart full of love and a gentle, affectionate nature. This sweet boy adores people and is happiest when he’s by your side soaking up attention. Since arriving at Red Barn Rescue, Beau has been discovering the joys of simply being a dog—he’s recently learned how fun it is to chase a ball and gets a little more playful every day!

Beau came to us from a hoarding situation involving 23 dogs and was thankfully intercepted before being taken to a county shelter. Despite his past, he has a kind spirit. He’s a fast learner, walks nicely on a leash, and is working on his manners (he sometimes gets so excited for affection that he’ll try to stand up for hugs!). With a little guidance and consistency, he’ll continue to blossom into an amazing companion.
