Now, this girl is special in all the right ways!

YHT founder Katrina brought in Precious from a situation where she was kept outside and was left to get by without her two back paws. Yes, that is right. Precious is missing her two back paws.

After thorough examinations, veterinarians believe Precious was born without her back paws.

Not an organization to give up on a dog in need, YHT located a company in Tucson that could make prosthetics for Precious. YHT then launched a fund-raiser to support the effort. Thanks to many generous and caring people, custom prosthetics were ordered and fit for Precious.

As you can see from the video, Precious has no trouble keeping up with the big dogs now!! Look at her run. She can finally do what she was meant to do!

Precious is approximately 2-3-years-old and house-trained. She gets along with other dogs. She has been with a dedicated foster throughout her experience, so good information is available about her and for how to care for Precious.
