Meet Gypsum. He is about a year old, 30 lbs, happy, smart, and attentive.  More than anything, Gypsum loves human company. He is a genuine snuggle-bug, nestling up against anyone that will let him, especially at night, when he insists on sleeping right next to you. He must have been loved by someone until he was found abandoned, wondering around campus, starving, searching for someone to take him in. While my husband was feeding him, he suddenly jumped up into my husband's arms. So, he has become our newest foster dog. Although, his demeanor is generally calm and patient, he is pretty athletic and could easily be a running or biking partner, but also good walks and a backyard are probably ok with him, too.
 
He is a fast, eager learner, is housebroken, and beginning to understand a leash.
