PISTACHIO - Australian Cattle Dog Blue Heeler Dog for Adoption in Broomfield, Colorado
PISTACHIO
Australian Cattle Dog Blue Heeler
🇺🇸
Broomfield, Colorado
July 9th
male, medium, baby
DESCRIPTION
Is timid/shy at first but when he warms up, he loves cuddles, hugs, and belly rubs! He is very smart and inquisitive. He would do great in a family that takes him on walks, hikes, runs. His energy level is much like a Lab that is out of the puppy stage (if that makes sense). He loves treats and other dogs. He likes chasing balls and is learning to bring them back. He will be a great family dog! He is crate trained but not potty trained. However, he has not had the opportunity to be trained with that because of the way things are set up at our home. He is so smart, that I imagine he will have that down in no time. He pees on the potty pad, or at least tries! Sometimes his feet are on the pad, but the "aim" is a bit off. :D He is fairly comfortable wearing a harness but we have not taken him on a walk.
ABOUT: AUSTRALIAN CATTLE DOG BLUE HEELER DOG BREED
The Australian Cattle Dog, also known as the Blue Heeler, is a hardworking and intelligent breed originally developed in Australia for herding cattle. Renowned for their endurance and agility, these medium sized dogs have a striking blue or red speckled coat and alert, curious expression. With a strong herding instinct and boundless energy, they require mental stimulation and physical activity to thrive. Blue Heelers are loyal, protective, and make excellent companions for active individuals or families willing to provide the engagement and exercise they need.
