A little up cloae and personal with Bluey! Bluey is small at around 35 lbs and 3 years old. He is a sweet boy, but he is a cattle dog, and nipping is what they do. Heelers typically need experienced owners, and one who plans to train them and most importantly keep them ACTIVE and ina routine. We are still socializing him with dogs, but he seems fine with most. Older children are okay, but herding dogs will do what they do, and herd the little people also so no small children.

Bluey's adoption fee is $175The shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at the dog's predominant breed or breed mix. We strongly encourage you to select your new pet by looking at each dog's individual personality and pet qualities rather than relying on a breed label that is only our best guess.

Our adoption fees vary from $150 and up. All of our dogs are up to date on vaccines, heart worm preventives, and flea/tick medication, and will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
