MEET WINSTON

Winston would like to clear up a small case of mistaken identity.

Yes, he looks like a Blue Heeler.
Yes, he sounds like a Blue Heeler.
But somewhere along the way, we're pretty sure someone accidentally installed "Labrador" software into cattle dog hardware.

One year old Winston is playful, happy, and wonderfully laid back. He missed the memo about needing to spend his days herding the furniture, reorganizing the household, and developing seventeen different hobbies before breakfast. INSTEAD Winston's perfect day consists of playing with his ball, romping around with his dog friends, and then settling in to hang out with his favorite person.

And people are VERY MUCH his favorite.

In fact, Winston occasionally gets so excited to see his human friends that he forgets all four paws are supposed to remain on the ground. We're working on his enthusiastic greetings, and he's doing great—but can you really blame the guy? PEOPLE HAVE ARRIVED. THIS IS AN EVENT!

Aside from his occasional attempts to greet you at eye level, Winston has absolutely lovely manners. He's housebroken, crate trained, walks beautifully on leash and is an all-around easy guy to have around. He's smart, eager to please, and somehow manages to strike that perfect balance between “Want to go do something?!” and “Actually, lying here with you sounds pretty great too.”

Winston loves other dogs and does wonderfully with kids, making him a FANTASTIC candidate for family life. Cats, however, are a little too interesting for our boy, so he's looking for a kitty-free forever home.
