Baby - Australian Cattle Dog Blue Heeler Dog for Adoption in Baton Rouge, Louisiana
BABY
Australian Cattle Dog Blue Heeler
🇺🇸
Baton Rouge, Louisiana
June 16th
male, medium, baby
DESCRIPTION
Baby is a cattle dog mix. He's about 12 weeks old and still growing! He is FULL of energy and playfulness. He is teething right now so he does need some redirection to toys instead of fingers. He is projected to be a smaller medium adult.
He does need a little work with crate training, and house training. Typical with the breed, he does need a lot of socializing and training as a puppy. He sometimes doesn't take the hint with other dogs if they don't want to play. His foster does have to monitor him to make sure he isn't being too rough. Families with young children should be aware this is a herding breed that can be mouthy. Baby loves to snuggle after some playtime. He is quite affectionate and loyal. We know his perfect family is out there!
