These amazing babies are a bonded pair.
Satori is a Jan/2024 baby, Female, about 45 lbs. DNA tested, Husky (51%), Treeing walker hound (38%), Herding dog mix is the rest.
Tanuki is a Jan/2022 Baby, Male, about 30 lbs. DNA tested, Pit (31%), Aussie (25%), Chow (12%), Border collie (9%), Beagle (5%), GSD (4%), Supermutt Bulldog edition (13%).
Tanuki is a dog that loves other animals. He has successfully befriended most species he has met and loves a variety of friends around that he can play with. He's come a long way with his relationship with humans and does cuddle at night and seeks scratches on a regular basis. He does seek comfort and confidence in situations from his mate Satori who has shown him life is all about fun and love. This good boy is off leash trained and will generally listen and no go far unless it's a rabbit or a squirrel, then he'll BRB. He generally does not enjoy unsolicited pets outside of nighttime cuddling or attention for being cute and can find it overwhelming.
Satori is a dog that loves all other animals and has made friends with many species as well. She loves babies regardless of their species and will keep a keen watch over them. She also requires close contact with humans, licking, cuddling, climbing and loving on them. Satori is a Husky Hound and sometimes her responsiveness shuts off, especially if her nose is involved. She is also capable of jumping a six foot fence and anything smaller is a given she'll be going over. She comes with a GSP collar to help reminder her of a boundary. She's not an off-leash dog otherwise.
They are being rehomed due to financial hardship and is no fault of their own.

We treat these dogs as individuals with needs and to that end all of our dogs will have been in fosters no less than two weeks, they will have at least started training if not attend weekly classes and get daily training at home with the fosters!
Which means our longest residents will be the best trained, as long as they're with us we're going to keep socializing and working through any issues they may have.
When you adopt from us you will have a very clear picture of the dog you're meeting and on going support!
Our Fees are as follows:
Senior dogs over 7 are $450
Adult dogs are $650
Puppies under 1 year are $800
Specific breeds are $900
With each adoption you will be...
1. Given up to four hours of free training (from the foster and coordinator),
2. Full medical report of all findings,
3. All of the supplies needed for a new dog as we attain these for the care of each dog,
4. A full run down on their behavioral status, where they started, where they are and how far is left to go. This will be detailed in a training plan from us about what they can or cannot handle well and it will be discussed as much as needed.
We fully vet all of our dogs which is reflected in our adoption fee. On average we will pay about 600 dollars in medical per dog. Every dog gets a full blood panel, fecal/urine check, heartworm & tick panel and treatment if required, spayed/neutered, all shots and boosters, along with anything specific to their needs.
