DESCRIPTION

Sweet Soul Alert! Meet Sienna! She is the kind of dog who quietly steals your heart. This gentle, thoughtful girl is still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place, and she looks to her people for reassurance as she navigates new experiences. While she may appear a little shy at first, Sienna is incredibly trusting and eager to connect. Give her a little patience, and you'll quickly see the sweet soul waiting to blossom.

Affection means everything to Sienna. Once she feels comfortable, she leans in for love, seeks out gentle companionship, and forms deep bonds with the people she trusts. She has a soft heart, a quiet presence, and a tender nature that makes every small step forward feel especially rewarding.

Sienna has a medium energy level and enjoys calm adventures and relaxed companionship. She's wonderful on leash-truly a dream walking partner with no pulling-and she naturally stays close to her person, making her an excellent candidate for future off-leash activities with continued training and trust-building.

One of Sienna's greatest strengths is her love of other dogs. She thrives in canine company and would likely flourish in a home with another confident, friendly dog to help show her the ropes. Once she trusts another pup, she's quick to offer a playful bow and join in the fun. She does well with dogs of all sizes, is especially gentle with small dogs, and shows no signs of prey drive. We think she would be happiest as part of a pack.

Because Sienna is still building confidence, she will need continued positive socialization with people and a family willing to let her adjust at her own pace. Her sensitive nature means she would do best in a quieter home with patient adopters who understand that trust takes time. While she can live with children, she would be most comfortable with dog-savvy kids ages 10 and up who can respect her space and allow her to come out of her shell when she's ready.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
