DESCRIPTION
Hi! My name is KK and I am available for adoption. I was originally brought to RASKC on January 14, 2026. Then I was adopted and returned on April 23, 2026 by no fault of my own. My adopter just felt like it was difficult to manage their children's extra-curricular activities and to be able to give me all the attention I deserve! I am a small guy weighing at only 20.0 lbs! :) My previous owner says this about me, KK is a smart, loving, and loyal dog who learns quickly and enjoys being part of the family. He is very treat-motivated, which makes training fun and easy. He already knows sit, down, roll, and high five, and is always excited to learn more! He is well-trained at home. He is potty-trained and sleeps quietly through the night in a crate, often going in on his own when he's ready to rest. He does well with routine and enjoys having a calm, structured environment. He loves being around other dogs and enjoys playtime, especially with friends who can match his energy. He can get a little excited when playing, but he means well and just loves having fun. If you're looking for a smart, affectionate companion who is eager to learn and bond, I could be a great match! I am currently in a foster home, please fill out a foster interest form for the chance to meet me :)
ABOUT: AUSTRALIAN CATTLE DOG BLUE HEELER DOG BREED
The Australian Cattle Dog, also known as the Blue Heeler, is a hardworking and intelligent breed originally developed in Australia for herding cattle. Renowned for their endurance and agility, these medium sized dogs have a striking blue or red speckled coat and alert, curious expression. With a strong herding instinct and boundless energy, they require mental stimulation and physical activity to thrive. Blue Heelers are loyal, protective, and make excellent companions for active individuals or families willing to provide the engagement and exercise they need.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
