Meet Looks Like Rain!
Rain and his six siblings were surrendered to a southern Indiana shelter when their owners said their mom had "dried up." The puppies were being fed cow's milk and table scraps and spent three weeks at the shelter before making their way to ARPO.
This sweet boy is a little shy at first, but underneath that timid exterior is a puppy who desperately wants love. Once he feels comfortable, he'll shower you with kisses every chance he gets. Rain is already showing off his herding instincts and will definitely need a family who can give him a 'job' to do!
He would thrive in a home with another dog who can help show him the ropes and build his confidence, but he would do well on his own, too. Like any young puppy, he will need patience and consistency while learning potty training, basic commands, and household manners. The good news? He's already comfortable in his crate and settles in nicely. He is INCREDIBLY smart and will catch on fast.
If you're looking for a gentle, affectionate puppy who just needs a little encouragement to blossom, Rain is ready to shower you with love.
If you are interested in adopting an ARPO pet, please visit our website at arporescue.org to learn more about our adoption process and complete our adoption application. ARPO limits adoptions to within 50 miles of Indianapolis. We do not have a shelter; all pets are in volunteer foster homes.
