Australian Cattle Dog Blue Heeler and Border Collie Dogs Available for Adoption in Austin, Texas

Baby and his siblings were picked up as strays and taken to a rural south Texas shelter we help. They were going to be euthanized, because the shelter was full. Thankfully, one of our fosters agreed to bring Baby into her home, and he has been a good boy. He is smart and is learning new things quickly. We hope he’ll find a forever home soon, so we can save more pups.

Baby has done great with children as young as 8. He loves to play with other dogs of any size. He is almost house trained and leash trained. He has also learned basic commands, and really wants to please his people.

Baby is 6 months old and weighs 34 pounds. We think he’s a Cattle Dog mix and will be a medium sized adult.

Baby is neutered, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP and Bordetella. He is also microchipped, heartworm negative and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
