Violet is a beautiful mix of American Staffordshire Terrier/Cattle Dog/Golden Retriever and 100% built for adventure. She was born on March 21st, 2026 and is ready to find her forever home!
The gal is the canine equivalent of a hiking buddy, a personal trainer and a golden-hearted best friend all rolled into one. She is smart, athletic, eager to learn, and happiest when her body and brain is busy!
She will thrive with an active family committed to exercise, structure and training. Experience is preferred- this kiddo is brilliant, but she is not a 'starter dog.'
BONUS: Violet comes with FREE training through Rosie Dane Dog Training once she is old enough, so you'll have support from day 1.

VIOLET'S ADOPTION FEE IS $200 (which covers most of the medical costs.)The shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at the dog's predominant breed or breed mix. We strongly encourage you to select your new pet by looking at each dog's individual personality and pet qualities rather than relying on a breed label that is only our best guess.

Our adoption fees vary from $150 and up. All of our dogs are up to date on vaccines, heart worm preventives, and flea/tick medication, and will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Portions of your adoption fee also help care for the sick and injured animals that we take in. Thank you for supporting us and considering a rescue dog!
