Juniper - American Staffordshire Terrier Dog for Adoption in Yukon, Oklahoma

Juniper is a 5-year-old, female American Staffordshire Terrier mix with a heart as big as her smile. Weighing around 65 pounds, this sweetheart is the perfect balance of playful and mellow. She loves curling up for a cozy cuddle session on the couch.

She does not do well with small dogs, cats, or small children. She gets along great with other dogs her size with proper introduction and older kids.

Juniper is house-trained, crate-trained, and rides like a pro in the car. She is always ready for the next adventure or a quick trip around town. She is especially fond of chewing toys and snuggle time. She is food motivated.

Junipers ideal home would have a secure stockade fence (she is a talented chain-link jumper!) and no small children, as she might accidentally knock them over with her enthusiasm. Juniper should not have soft chew-toys because she will swallow them. She would d thrive with a family who values companionship, belly rubs, and the joy of a loyal, loving dog.

If you are looking for a loyal companion who iss equal parts cuddle bug and playmate, Juniper just might be your perfect match. Come meet her and you'll fall in love in no time!

Developed in the United States, they are intelligent and affectionate dogs, making them great family companions. With a distinctive short coat and strong build, American Staffordshire Terriers are often misunderstood due to their past as fighting dogs, but they are actually loving and playful pets when raised in a nurturing environment. They thrive on human interaction and are eager to please their owners.
