She has been a deeply loved companion her whole life, but due to her owner moving into assisted living, she now needs a new place to land. She would do best in a calm, low-traffic home where she can relax and feel safe.

Health: Overall healthy, not currently on medications
Mobility: Mild arthritis; prefers minimal stairs
Activity level: Low
Personality: Gentle, calm, affectionate

Sadie enjoys short walks outside but is happiest resting in a cozy spot and receiving head pets. She has a quiet, soulful presence and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a relaxed, easygoing dog.

Other pets:
Sadie can do well with calm dogs but may feel overwhelmed by younger or high-energy dogs. She may also be happiest as the only pet in the home.

Special placement:
We are open to placing Sadie as a long-term foster, meaning we will continue to support and cover her medical care. Our goal is simply to find her a peaceful, loving home where she can be comfortable and cared for.
