Sometimes all it takes is the right person seeing the right dog at the right moment.

Miss Piggy found herself as an unclaimed stray at a facility that was running dangerously low on both time and space. As kennel populations climbed, her situation became increasingly urgent.

When we learned about this spotted little cow of a girl, we knew we had to try to help.

And just like that, the universe did its thing.

A foster stepped up and said “yes” to the adorable black-and-white meatball who was running out of options. No shelter dog should have their future determined by a lack of kennel space, and thanks to her foster, Miss Piggy’s story is headed in a much different direction.

We have a feeling this chunky little moo cow is going to fit right in around here.
