❤ï ̧‍ CALVIN UPDATE ❤ï ̧‍

Our sweet Calvin had major surgery Tuesday, October 6th, and despite everything this boy has endured, his incredible spirit is shining through. ❤ï ̧

His injuries confirmed just how much he’s been through — a broken jaw, multiple bullet fragments in his face, and several damaged teeth that had to be removed.

He’s understandably been in quite a bit of pain today, but he’s still in great spirits and doing wonderfully in his foster home. He loves to eat, soak up all the pets, and just be close to his people.

And if you need proof of what a special boy he is... he was wagging his tail straight out of surgery when he saw his foster mom. ❤ï ̧

Calvin has been through more than any dog should, but his personality is absolutely wonderful. He is so full of love and seems incredibly grateful to finally be safe, cared for, and surrounded by people who love him.

Keep sending this brave boy all the healing thoughts! ❤ï ̧‍

The American Staffordshire Terrier, also known as the Amstaff, is a medium sized, muscular breed known for its loyalty and courage. Developed in the United States, they are intelligent and affectionate dogs, making them great family companions. With a distinctive short coat and strong build, American Staffordshire Terriers are often misunderstood due to their past as fighting dogs, but they are actually loving and playful pets when raised in a nurturing environment. They thrive on human interaction and are eager to please their owners.
